Unwanted hair on the body is often a problem for both men and women. The
growth of excessive hair can be due to a hormonal imbalance in the body.
No one knows the exact cause, although some authority's agree that heredity
often determines those persons inclined toward excessive hair growth.
Although waxing has little discomfort, it also has advantages over shaving
or the use of depilatory creams. When hair is shaved or removed by a depilatory
cream, it is removed at the skin line surface only. Within a few days hair
growth can be seen and stubble can be felt.
When removed by the use of wax, hair is completely removed from the follicle
resulting in less hair growth and a smoother skin surface. Clients who receive
waxing services return within 2 to 6 weeks. Over time, regrowth will become
lighter.

PRECAUTION'S & RECOMMENDATIONS
- If you have been shaving an area or using a chemical
depilatory, please discontinue for at least 2 to 3 weeks prior to your waxing
treatment. This will allow the hair to grow long enough to adhere to the
wax during the treatment.
- Certain drugs, pregnancy, and weight problems are known to influence hair growth.
- It is recommended that your hair be at least 1/4 of an inch long before receiving a waxing service for best results.
- Alpha-hydroxy acids, gylcolic acids, etc must be stopped 7 to 10 days before your waxing treatment due to sensitivity concerns.
- For special occasions, such as your wedding day,
etc, we recommend having your waxing service performed several days prior
to your event.
